Los Angeles Contractors to See Enormous Transit Spending
October 28, 2009 – Recently, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority board passed a measure which will pave the way for the Los Angeles metro region to spend close to $300 billion on transit infrastructure over the next 30 years.

LA to Spend $300B Over 30 Years
The plan includes $106 billion for bus and rail and $94 billion for roadways. This funding bodes well for the long term future of Los Angeles engineering contractors.
Some of the key projects include a subway extension to Westwood and Orange county bus transit improvements. The hope is that the spending proactively combats congestion and improves public transit. Everyone from Long Beach engineering contractors to Orange engineering contractors are excited about the influx of spending.
