Veterans Hospital to Bring Construction Jobs to Tucson
February 7, 2010 – This spring, construction of a $28 million military veterans long-term-care and housing facility is set to begin in Tucson, Arizona. $18 million of the project is being funded by federal stimulus dollars. The construction is expected to provide dozens of jobs to Tucson contractors for over a year.
The lead contractor on the South Sixth Avenue facility is Haydon Building Corp. Interested parties, like Tucson plumbers, should contact them regarding yet unfilled subcontracting positions.
