Construction of California Rail Has the Go-Ahead
December 8, 2010 – California is now on track to build the first 65-mile section of its high-speed rail that will connect the Bay Area with Los Angeles. Capitalizing on the $4.3 billion of available funds, construction will start in the central valley with the building of new stations, bridges, and viaducts. Employing the likes of Bakersfield general contractors and Fresno general contractors, the project is expected to kick off in 2017.
When completed, the entire rail system will be 800 miles in length.
