Arlington Contractors find Work with School Renovations
November 2, 2009 – The Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Arlington, Texas is set to undergo $7.8 million in renovations. The architect on the project is Perkins Eastman and the general contractor, Grunley Construction, will be performing mainly HVAC and electrical upgrades on 230,000 square-feet of space.

The announcement is welcome news, and many Arlington contractors are expected to pursue subcontracting positions on this project.
Other additions and renovations that will be performed include roofing and skylight installation, and painting and millwork. The construction schedule will be planned so that the school may continue to function as a community center and education center as the project progresses.
