debating between a contemporary or traditional design, but all parties seem to agree that the project will break ground in 2011.  The Flagler Memorial Bridge construction will bring around one hundred jobs to the region’s ailing construction industry, and West Palm Beach contractors in particular.

In its functionality, the new bridge will differ from the existing bridge in that the new will not span Flagler Drive, but instead will end at a to-be-created intersection with Flagler Drive.  West Palm Beach electricians are closely following the City’s discussions about the bridge’s lighting.  The state Department of Transportation is presently in talks with the City to split the cost of higher-end lighting with the local government.

West Palm Beach, FL to See Large Hilton Hotel Project

March 11, 2010 – Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida is tapped to see the construction of a Hilton Hotel along with a $600 million entertainment center. The project will be built next to the Palm Beach Convention Center and is likely to be completed in 2014. The construction is expected to employ over 600 local builders, like West Palm Beach general contractors and West Palm Beach electricians.

The general for the hotel project is Related Cos. out of New York, and Coastal Construction and Catafulmo Construction will help oversee the day-to-day activities.
